The Scaglione's priorities were ease of maintenance, longevity of plant material, and serious curb appeal was an absolute must!
Our solution
We used four varieties of ornamental bamboo, including black, blue, gold, and striped, for privacy and accent pieces. The front yard got two majestic medjool date palms, we planted a herb and vegetable garden in the backyard, and added a Florida flame vine on the side pergola.
We installed a podocarpus privacy hedge, a pergola with a hot pink bougainvillea, with jasmine to perfume the property and fresh lawn grass throughout. The timing for this project was two weeks, but we were finished in a week.
The client's reaction
The client was thrilled with the outcome, particularly with the medjool date palms, which are so majestic and stately. I stayed on for several years to fertilize and help maintain the property.
