Butterfly Paradise in Coral Gables (Martinez)

The brief

This client in Coral Gables, Miami, was after a tropical butterfly paradise with edible gardens. Key requirements for them were longevity of plant material and ease of maintenance.

Our solution

We introduced seasonal herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees to satisfy the edible garden requirement. We planted roses and cut tropical flowers for indoor arrangements. We also used fragrant flora like lady of the night, jasmine, gardenia, roses, and trumpet flowers to attract butterflies and for that tropical feel. 

The client's reaction

The client was beyond thrilled with their new butterfly paradise garden. It has that wow factor for serious curb appeal and, as such, was named our Garden of the Year in 2020.
